The Most Ultra-Violent Video Games of 2005

The next time your child begs for a video game, pay attention to the title before you give in. Some are so filled with horrific violence, gratuitous sex, repulsive profanity and shocking substance abuse that it would make most parents recoil in horror.

And while parents may scrutinize movies and even CDs, many don't give a thought to video games. The Family Media Guide has done that for them, publishing a must-have list of the top 10 ultra-violent games of 2005. This information is used as the video game report card issued annually by the National Institute on Media and the Family.

Here is the list of the top 10 ultra-violent video games, which are ranked in no particular order:

Resident Evil 4

The player is a special forces agent sent to recover the president's kidnapped daughter. During the first minutes of play, it's possible to find the corpse of a woman pinned up on a wall--by a pitchfork through her face.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

The player is a young man working with gangs to gain respect. His mission includes murder, theft and destruction on every imaginable level. He recovers his health by visiting prostitutes and recovers funds by beating them to death and taking their money. The player can wreak as much havoc as he likes for no reason without progressing through the game's storyline.

God of War

The player becomes a ruthless warrior, seeking revenge against the gods who tricked him into murdering his own family. Prisoners are burned alive, and the player can use finishing moves to kill opponents, such as tearing a victim in half.

Narc

The player can choose between two narcotics agents attempting to take a dangerous drug off the streets and shut down the KRAK cartel while being subject to temptations including drugs and money. To enhance abilities, the player takes drugs, including pot, Quaaludes, ecstasy, LSD and "Liquid Soul," which give the power to kick off enemies' heads.

Killer 7

The player takes control of seven assassins who must combine skills to defeat a band of suicidal, monstrous terrorists. The game eventually escalates into a global conflict between the United States and Japan. The player collects the blood of fallen victims to heal himself and must slit his own wrists to spray blood to find hidden passages.

The Warriors

Based on a 1970s action flick that set new standards for "artistic violence," a street gang battles its way across New York City in an attempt to reach its home turf. The player issues several commands to his gang, including "mayhem," which causes the gang to smash everything in sight.

50 Cent: Bulletproof

The game is loosely based on the gangster lifestyle of rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. The player engages in gangster shootouts and loots the bodies of victims to buy new 50 Cent recordings and music videos.

Crime Life: Gang Wars

The player is the leader of a ruthless street gang, who spends his time fighting, recruiting new gangsters, fighting, looting and more fighting. The player can roam the streets and fight or kill anyone in sight for no apparent reason.

Condemned: Criminal Origins

The player is an FBI serial killer hunter in one of the first titles for the Xbox 360. The game emphasizes the use of melee weapons over firearms, allowing players to use virtually any part of their environment as a weapon. The next generation graphics provide a new level of detail to various injuries, especially finishing moves.

True Crime: New York City

The player is a New York City cop looking for information regarding the mysterious death of a friend. The player can plant evidence on civilians and shake them down to earn extra money.

Game Review: Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening

Get used to seeing these words, Gamer, as Capcom has unleashed the most thrilling, thumb-numbing, and challenging game to date in Devil May Cry 3.

Devil May Cry 3 (DMC3) revisits the sons of Sparda, Dante and Virgil. Several thousand years have passed since Sparda, the legendary demon knight, raised his sword against the unholy world to save the human race. Victorious and assured that evil forces had been confined, Sparda joined mankind and fathered Dante, a half human-half demon son infused with the power of a supernatural lineage. However, Dante was not the only son Sparda had sired. As devoted as Dante was to defeating the forces of evil, his twin brother, Virgil, was consumed by power and upheld the legacy of his sinister ancestors.

One moonlight night a mysterious tower (called “The Temen-Ni-Gru”) materialized beside Dante’s “Devil May Cry” investigative agency. On the rooftop stood his estranged brother and his inhuman minions, goading Dante into a confrontation. Courtesy (Italics mine)

While luring Dante into a trap, Virgil seems interested in taking Dante’s necklace which seems to be their only link to their slain mother. Why does Virgil want the necklace (By the way, Virgil has his own as well)? Who is Virgil’s sidekick, Arkham and what does he have to do with the The Temen-Ni-Gru? You will have to take a pit bull bite and hold on for a bucking 20 levels plus 12 secret missions to find those answers.

GAMEPLAY

“It ain't bragging if you can back it up...”-Dizzy Dean

Where DMC3 really warp speeds from the rest of the action/adventure genre is the deep combat system. The game swallows all the elements of Ninja Gaiden and Prince of Persia stylishly rejuroates them into a new genre which I will call for short, “SB” - “Strategy Brawler” or another colorful label: “TMB”-“Thinking Man’s Brawler.”.

Dante has 4 ‘styles’ that he can use at the beginning of the mission or even switch during mid-mission when one finds a golden statue:

Trickster, Royal Guard, Gunslinger, Sword Master.

Each style has its unique taste to suit your playing style. If you prefer to evade a lot and ping at the enemy, Trickster will make you feel like Neo from the Matrix with its wall running (similar to Prince of Persia & Ninja Gaiden). If you enjoy impaling demon scum with a blade, Sword Master will make the staunchest gaming samurai blush. If you want to pay homage to John Woo-ish gun films, you can strapped on Gun Slinger. If you are the patient Aikido type, Royal Guard will give the satisfaction of waiting just for the right moment to strike.

Dante is also loaded for bear with weaponry (again to suit your particular taste). Everything from his father’s broadsword “Rebellion” to nunchukus and Ah! No demon vigilante could be complete with guns! And Dante doesn’t disappoint in this arena either. His signature guns, Ebony & Ivory. Shotgun. And many more (a total of 5). Dante, true to his cockiness, really shines when one uses Gunslinger mode. Let’s just say...you will be amazed at what a shotgun can do in his hands.

Since DMC3 is a TMB, the game will reward you for your patience in learning how to chain combos together. A meter will appear over the right side of Dante to grade how much you express your creativity in attacking foes. The meter goes from ‘Dope!’ to the highest: ‘Stylish!’ The reward is red orbs which can be used to buy upgrades for weaponry, learn new actions for your styles, buy items (health is essential as well as continues), etc. This breathed fresh life into the game as I learned how to mix up my combos (which not only reward with visual eye candy) but air pressures gamers to strive for the highest rankings. Bravo for Capcom developers for creating an innovative way to squelch the holdrum of the action genre. There are also unlockables which keeps the game hot in the PS2 rather than gather dust and later traded or sold for another game.

Be forewarned though, as I noted in the start of this review, you will lead Dante to many deaths as you trudge through DMC difficult levels. Because this game is a TMB, you will be required to study your enemies carefully and to learn when to strike at the right time. For example, you will learn that the demonic enemy called ‘Sloth’(named after the 7 deadly sins) will teleport and swing at you only after he leans back and yells. The demon called ‘Lust” (Another nod for Capcom for not using a potential raunchy enemy design associated with this word) will evade for a moment, backflip, and charge you with its scythe while laughing. These little nuances can be lifesavers only if you study the enemies like a seasoned martial arts student but if you decide to go kamikaze into a horde of demons and not study them...well, once your continues are gone, say hello to Mr. Restart Mission. I had to replay Mission 5 numerous times just to augment Dante’s abilities so he could face the bosses on this level and each time I restarted the mission, the game forced me to become a better player. This game is definitely meant for the patient and seasoned hardcore gamer.

GRAPHICS/SOUND

“Let’s Rock!”

Although I haven’t played the previous series (most reviewers stated that the story is tigher than the previous outings), DMC3 does a specular job in spinning the Dante/Virgil yarn before your eyes. The cut scenes will simply blow your mind especially the beginning sequence when Dante is attacked by a horde of demons. The choreograph of the fight is right up to par with the hottest martial artist choreographer known to man, Woo Ping. Yes, friend, the scene is THAT good. Other scenes display the carefulness and attention to detail in music atmosphere, vocal acting, and flow in story that would make John Woo even smile. DMC’s plot and cut scenes are full of campy humor that gives a tongue-in-cheek nod to B-rated action films of the days as well as anime.

The graphics for DMC has been chiseled to the slightest details. Everything from the shadow being casted by Dante to the visual explosion of various combos performed by Dante is tremendous. DMC3 is without its faults though. While I was playing in Mission 7 and a horde of demons showed up, the game play slowed down considerably. There are also issues of demons can ‘melt’ through walls and Dante can do the same.

The music is gothic in its presentation (due to the dark nature of the storyline) and served well in some places. The game cues up a similar experience to Splinter Cell and even, dare I say...I dare...Enter The Matrix. When enemies are appearing, the music goes from ominous tones to what I could describe as ‘Death Techno Metal.’

The sounds are keen to prick the ears...everything the whoosh of Dante’s sword ‘Rebellion’ to the blasting of ‘Ebony & Ivory’ will curl the back hairs of the most hardened Ninja Gaiden affecendios.

POSITIVE ELEMENTS

Through my outing with this game, Dante is fearless and bold to become a one man wrecking ball against his brother and the forces of evil. Dante has chosen to use his abilities and powers for good. This makes me to recall what the Lord Jesus Christ said, “And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.” (Mr 3:24-26). Dante has made a choice and just like everyone, even the angels who decided to follow Lucifer, has to accept the consequences. Dante saves Lady, a demon hunter, from falling off of a cliff.

SPIRITUAL CONTENT

There is the concept of demons apparent in the game as well as playing a half-demon, half human hero. Dante has the ability to transform into a devil later in the game.

SEXUAL CONTENT

Lady, the demon hunter, wears a mini-skirt. Nevan walks around stark naked with hair strategically placed over her breasts.

VIOLENT CONTENT

The beginning cut scene is graphic in nature with Dante being impaled by his demons armed with scythes. Dante is shot in the head by Lady after he tried to help her. Dante is impaled by his brother’s sword.

CRUDE OR PROFANE LANGUAGE

Hell is used as a general term. “This is going to be one hell of a party.” - Dante.

DRUG/ALCOHOL CONTENT

None.

OTHER NEGATIVE ELEMENTS

A disturbing and eerie part of the game is actually, believe this or not, the menu screen for Dante before a mission begins. There is a very faint demonic voice that reminds me of chanting and needless to say, this is very unnerving. Dante is full of pride and swagger (which is why I included the quote from Spugeon) because he is immortal and somewhat invincible. Dante could be the humble type yet chooses to be overly confident.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Dante and Virgil make an interesting story in video game history. Although the good and evil brother has not been done before. There isn’t a game that I can recall playing that makes their rivalry so compelling.

DMC is the new gauntlet in action gaming and raises the bar for other brawlers to do the same. This is a game that will force you to improve as a strategic fighter only if you have the patience to endure the many deaths Dante will eventually encounter. DMC would not fall under the spectrum of a Philippians 4:8 game due to its demonic theme and elements. If DMC did not have these elements, I would highly recommend this game due to the mere production alone.

Gamespy is serving up their look at the future of X360 games and one that has my eyebrow slightly raised is the Superman game.

Yes, yes...I know...all the other Superman games were abyssal failures yet swing on over to the link and check out what is being said about the possibility (takes a deep breath) of a Superman game that doesn't actually...bites.

Here's hoping that the developers is realizing that Superman is larger than life so the challenges, graphics, gameplay, and story should make anyone jump into a telephone booth and change!

Hmmm...now just how did that work for him anyhow? Another Tootsie Pop philosophy if you ask me. We may never know...

Dr. Secrets himself has revealed that there are even more secrets to the Nintendo Revolution. I wonder how this will pan out. Don't get me wrong...the controller is a quantum leap in the right direction and I will never accuse Nintendo as not being innovative. Again, our mantra as hardcome gamers is: "It is not the system...it is the games that make the system."

So without further ado, Griffin's top 10 list of The Revolution's could be secrets:

10. The Rev. is built out of the spare parts of the Phantom.
9. The Rev. will be only be able to play Charlie Angel's if you don't buy the preminum edition.
8. The Rev.'s controller can serve as a garage door opener.
7. The controller features a hologram of Mr. Miyamoto in swimming trunks.
6. The Rev. connects to the GameCube to give extra content!
5. The controller can unlock bonus stages for Batman: Dark Tomorrow.

Next Gen = New Innovation?

With the advent of the next gen system poppin' up like popcorn (okay, maybe not that fast), I wonder what sort of innovation and fresh ideas can developers use to woo gamers to buy their products?

Gamers of today want more virtual cream and sugar added to their gaming experience and I just wonder what is cooking in the Sony, MS, and Nintendo.

Until then, I say to you to hold out on the next gen systems until a price drop and like Kite from G2G forums stated that he would rather play all of the old gen games he has missed. I agree with his wisdom...

Sony Merger?

Did I get your attention with this title? Well, there is no merger happening but wouldn't the idea of Sony merging with Nintendo be a great idea for stopping the midnight express of Microsoft's domination of the console market. Sony's and Nintendo's unbeatable presence in Japan would only augment their market and make investors smile at the creativity this merger could cause.

Hmmm...maybe I SHOULD email Sony on this one...Heh..heh...

Dear Sony,

I was contempting this idea and I think this would be an earth-shattering blow to Microsoft and other upstarts vying for the #1 position.

I would like to respectfully propose that your investors look into the possiblity of merging with Nintendo of America.

Now before you fall off your chair at this idea, please continue reading.

Sony and Nintendo merger would be the ideal finishing blow needed for console dominance. With Sony and Nintendo's strong Japanese support, stellar third party contracts, and loyal following could only spell trouble for MS.

Please consider this suggestion at the next investor's meeting. I would not like to see in the news that Sony is no longer #1.

Okay...here is the major changes that will be happening on Game Angel.

Are you tired of game reviews that have a secular spin on them? I would like to start to having Christian video game reviews here on this blog. The only way I can effectively do this though is through donations.

You will be informed on what game I will be reviewing, you will see the actual scan of the Blockbuster receipt of the game and price to rent (sans my BB card number), and you also can give feedback on what games you want me to review.

Please bear in mind that I have only two systems (PS2 and GameCube).

Lord willing, I will do my best as much of the game as possible to give an accurate review on the content.

Game Devotional: Final Fantasy X

Tidus' main antagonist in the FFX yarn is the malevolent, powerful "Sin" who blazes through history with its destructive nature laying to waste anyone or anything in its path.

Nothing can stop Sin even the summoners who sacrifice themselves in a small glimmer of hope in using their 'powers' and Aeon to stop this force...except to no avail. Even the valiant Crusaders are slaughtered as they try time and time again to halt Sin's destruction.

The interesting twist is that Sin CAN be defeated by a summoner strong enough to call the Final Summoning (the Final Aeon)...but Sin reforms and starts its warpath all over again.

A great parallel on how Adam's decision to disobey God's commandment in Genesis 3 released the horror of sin into this world and cursing the world and man with his decision (Ro 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man {Adam} sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:).

And just like the summoners and the Crusaders are helpless to defeat Sin, we, too, are powerless to fight the internal and external curse of sin and sin separates us from a holy and righteous God. None of our good works can get us favor with God ( Isa 64:6 Â¶ But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesss [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.). In all honesty to defeat sin in our own strength is both futile and useless.

But (what a sweet word in the Bible!) there is One though that has paid the FINAL price and sacrifice for sin because there was no other way. The Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ Who God gave to pay the ultimate debt of Adam's sin (Heb 1:1-3).

What amazing love for God to send His Son to die for us who deserve the payment of hell! Thank God the debt of my sin I owed is paid and for the whole world!

The Return!

Yes, friends, I have returned from a hiatus...boy, things are a tad bit dusty here...I hope to catch up. I have been playing the dickens out of Final Fantasy X and most likely will include more devotionals on this game. There is also something in the works as well as I am praying about this so Lord willing, stay tuned for a BIG announcement.

While I was away, here is a recap about what happened:

I had struggled immensely about the assurance of my salvation for a long time. I would frequently pray asking God to save just to be sure because I had no peace about where would I go if I died. I would write down numerous dates on when I was saved yet none were really relevant due to my double-mindedness. Even when I told others that I was a Christian, there was no real confidence that God would keep His Word and save me. My feelings were telling me different and they seemed more powerful than the truth of God’s Word.

Recently, Evangelist Lars Wessberg came to our church and preached on the Lord Jesus’ message on the parable of the wheat and tares (found in Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43. You can listen to the message on our church’s website: www.obchurch.org. Look under ‘Sermons.’ In fact, I highly encourage you to listen). The wheat represented the saved and the tares represented the unsaved. I had heard this message before from another evangelist. I went forward because I wanted to have full assurance. I prayed with the evangelist yet in my heart, I knew that I still did not have confidence. Was I really a child of God? Was I sincere? Was I genuine? Peter admonishes us to make sure that our salvation is indeed sure (2 Pet. 1:10). I wanted to be doubly sure.

Yesterday at work, the doubts crept in again and I asked God for mercy on my life and asked Him to remove the confusion and help me to have confidence in His Word. The Lord showed me the verse: “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” (1 Cor. 14:33). Then the Lord showed me how His Word is trustworthy and sure (1 Kings 8:56; Ps. 93:5; Ps. 111:7; Ezek. 12:25) and how His Word endures forever (Ps. 119:89; Mt. 24:35). He also showed me that He keeps His promises especially about eternal life (Titus 1:2).

He then showed me the types of ground that the Word of God tries to plant itself (Mat. 13:3 – 9; 18 – 23). I was the ground that Satan would snatch up the Word of God (v. 4). I was the ground that was shallow (v.5). I was the ground that the Word of God could not get root (v. 6). I was the ground that had thorns (v. 7) and cared more about the world’s affairs than God. God also showed me that I truly was a tare. A counterfeit. I was trying to get to Heaven my own way by trusting in my emotions than the sure Word of God and His promises. I didn’t think He had the real power to save me. I called Him a liar (1 John 5:10). So during work, I asked the Lord for mercy and to spare my life until I had a chance to look at the Scriptures, search the Scriptures, and spend time with Him.

When I had time with the Lord alone, I totally confessed what I had done. How I had offended the cause of Christ with my hypocrisy and I had a zeal of God but without the knowledge of truth (Rom 10:2 -4). I was, like Paul the Apostle, a Pharisee. A scribe. I trusted more in my feelings than the Word of God. I realized that Satan and the flesh were the authors of confusion, not God.

So I prayed and asked the Lord to forgive me for my terrible, hypocritical life and ask Him to be my Lord and Savior based on His Word, not on my feelings. No more wavering. No more being tossed about by my emotions. I asked Him to give me the real peace of 1 John 5:13 than a false peace. I wanted to share with my readers what I have learned from FFX as I have been playing this since the beginning of this month. I will probably give my own review of the game (yes, yes, I know this game is a billizon years old but hey, if you didn't want to read my speal then why are you here?). In the meantime, check out Matt Yaggi's review from Al Menconi's site.

Since playing Tidus, the protagonist, I can see he has a lot of bitterness in his heart toward his father, Jecht. I can understand why because Jecht is frankly...a jerk. He leaves his "wife" (I am not sure if Jecht is actually married to her), terrorizes his son Tidus by calling him a crybaby and putting him down, and is a drunkard. All the while, Jecht becomes something much more powerful that forces Tidus to become the only one who can stop him. The angry that Tidus has for his father is battling the desire to actually have a father who really is a 'Dad.'

We all have had love ones who have hurt us in the past. As Christians, we need to remember (even if they are saved or not), love covers a multitude of sins and God the Father forgives us if we are willing to come and confess our sins. How much more do we need longsuffering with our loved ones and to show them the grace that the Heavenly Father pours on us daily.

Specifically referring to the PlayStation 3, he added: "Compared to the Xbox 360, it seems to be somewhat out of place with today's developers. I believe that it is having an influence on the skills and abilities of developers. You will have to change your way of thinking."

X-Box 360: Would You Like Fries With That?

Ah, yes...are you reaching deep into your piggy bank to count the six pence you have and figuring out how much grass you need to cut in order to save up for the pimped out X-Box 360? Well, Bubba, you may be waiting a long time with this announcement. Darth Bill has struck again in hopes of dethroning the current heavyweight champ, Sony, with a solid line up of games and staggering specs under the hood. Unless a reader's father is Daddy War Bucks, I think the smart move is to just wait three years for a price drop. Think about this. The games will be on the Platinum level and Halo 3 will already be out and cost about $39 to $29 bucks. I say wait it out, young grasshoppers.

NY1 News reported that Marc Ecko will be allowed to throw his Block Party to honor his love for graffiti art. I, for one, totally disdain graffiti art especially how the Hip-Hop culture has been a major influence in the explosion of G.A. in the recent years. Even in Honolulu, I cringe and puff up with anger at seeing how young talented kids with nothing to do waste their creative talents from God to 'tag' a house, a business, street signs, and the like. Kids, if you are reading this, how would you like someone to do the same to your property? How would you like it if I took your pimped out ride and 'tag' it?

Just as Grand Theft Auto launched controversy, Marc Ecko's Getting Up Game will bore its influence into the young masses and more kids will be involved in this 'art' so expect us as taxpayers to pay more taxes to keep our cities to look decent and better.

Oldies But Goodies

OH, the memories! Created in 1992 for the Sega Genesis, this game was the answer to Capcom's Final Fight and (*whispering*) was a better game. Streets of Rage 2 (SOR2) took gamers to new heights of fighting bliss by improving on the original porridge of their first game. Adding a dash of supermoves, a pinch of improved audio, and mixed with a heaping cup of 16 bit graphics, SOR2 was a brawler's dream and still is. I would be willing to place SOR2 up against any next-gen brawler today and the game would still win hands down.

What is an angel?

The Origin of the Blog Name

A lot have probably been wondering why in the blue beans is my blog named "Enter The 36th Chamber?" Well, based on several reasons (have you ever noticed how authors use the term 'several' when citing examples and then only give maybe three or four...ah...such is the life of literary prose, I guess):

The name really appealed to me after one day I was looking for something dealing with martial arts and I found out about Gordon Li. He was one of my favorite old school Shaw Brothers' performers and I found that he was in the movie "The 36th Chamber of Shaolin." Although, I never saw the film, the name had edge...a bite...something to stand out. So I decided to keep the name to set me apart from other blogs that use game related names. Later, the name may change so stay tuned...

Forunately, the cursing DID bother me. Game developers have me scratching my head. Why murder the King's English? Couldn't M.A. be just as solid and engrossing as a shooter without the potty mouth dialogue? Christian gamers, the ratings comments do help and please take them at face value.

Since I have decided to laser beam focus my blog on strictly video games and the video game culture (sorry, Mom)...I decided to broaden my knowledge and digest a very pasty and heady Gamespot Q & A article about Steven Johnson (author of Everything Bad Is Good for You: How Today's Popular Culture Is Actually Making Us Smarter).

As I waded through this article, there was one quote that itched my brain and made my Spider-sense tingle:

GS: Assuming you are a gamer, what advice do you have for the retail community in terms of how it sells games?
SJ: It depends on whether they're selling to kids or to parents. I think the kids probably mostly want to hear about the graphics and the zombies, but if parents can hear more about the cognitive challenges involved in playing these games, that's got to help. One of the things I suggest in the book is that we should have ratings for mental challenge alongside the ratings for violence, sex, etc. As a parent, I'm much more concerned about that than I am about a little bloodshed or the occasional four-letter word.
I would respectfully disagree...I want to be responsible for my child and what is plunk down their little mind to graze on. I agree that video games can stimulate the mind yet overlooking content is dangerous and unwise. I hope the gov't would read articles like this to realize that not all video games are eve-veil yet sources of entertainment.

Gamespot released an article about the console sales in the U.S., Japan, and other regions and the numbers for Nintendo is looking very grim. I think Nintendo seriously needs to reconsider their marketing strategies. Am I screaming that Mario has to wear a thong and cap Mushroom inhabitants in order to make sales? No. I would like Nintendo to become ruthless as their counterparts. Ruthless in stealing the market share from Sony and MS by wooing hardcore gamers with games that are savory in depth, presentation, and content. Nintendo needs to stop relying on their cash crop of title characters (sans Link, Mario, Samus) and create more. They also need to begin to pay their developers so well that they actually WANT to make games for them.

Sigh...the glory days of Nintendo are far gone...will the Revolution bring hope?

Okey, I am back from my hiatus...I was reading up on how to make Blogger work. I am very impressed with the features and should make my stay a lot easier.

I am still toying with the idea of what to make the focal point of my blog. I just want to focus on one thing and do good at the subject instead popping around like popcorn. Many bloggers are talented in this manner. Moi'? I just want to do the K.I.S.S. system.

I think I am going to focus on a Christian perspective on video games that come out as well as industry news and other happenings.

I have officially kicked off my start here at Blogger after leaving the droves of Modblog. Modblog was a great start for me yet I want to mature more as a blogger. I hope to make this blog interesting as I blog about everything from the Christian worldview to video games. Thank you for joining me!
